From 8–13 December 2025, the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-7) will gather world leaders, civil society, and environmental advocates at the UN Headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya. As the highest global decision-making body on environmental policy, UNEA-7 arrives at a historic moment—one marked by accelerating climate disruption, biodiversity loss, ocean degradation, toxic pollution, and growing inequality.

This Assembly builds on momentum from previous global efforts, including UNOC3, recent biodiversity and land-restoration conferences, and the pathway toward COP30. The Claretian Missionaries, through PROCLADE, will be present and actively engaged during the assembly.

Their participation reflects the Claretian commitment to accompany vulnerable communities, bring moral clarity to global discussions, and promote solutions rooted in justice, peace, and care for our common home.
