Nine days. One intention: healing.
Beginning August 15th, we invite you to join our community for the Solemn Novena to St. Jude for Healing—nine days of focused prayer for the physical, mental, and spiritual healing so many of us are aching for within ourselves or for someone we love.
As the patron saint of hope and impossible causes, St. Jude walks with us not just in healing itself, but in finding the courage to approach it. Established by the Claretian Missionaries, Our National Shrine of St. Jude provides a peaceful place for renewal, belonging, and a deeper connection to God through devotion to St. Jude. More than 3 million people participate in this vibrant community of prayer.

The novena is hosted at the Shrine, located inside of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. You can join also join virtually and send us your prayer petitions to be placed at the altar.
Each of the nine evening services will led by the co-directors of the Shrine, Fr. Byron Macias, CMF, and Fr. Agustín Carrillo, CMF. They are joined this year by guest speaker Fr. Jorge Zetino, SVD, Associate Mission Director for Divine Word Mission.

For those who would like to attend in person, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church is at 3200 E. 91st St. Chicago, IL 60617. Services are held at 5:30pm CT Monday–Saturday and 3pm CT on Sunday.
Can’t join us in person at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church? We’ll be livestreaming every service to Facebook, YouTube, and our website—plus posting morning prayers and intentions along with meditation videos throughout the novena.
