“I can’t bear to see misfortune or misery without doing something to help.”

— St. Anthony Mary Claret

“Saint Anthony Mary Claret, pray for us!”

Dear Friends of St. Anthony Mary Claret,

This fall, we come together in prayer to celebrate the feast of St. Anthony Mary Claret, our founder and a passionate servant of God’s people. His words, “My spirit is for the whole world,” continue to inspire us to share God’s love without borders.

On behalf of the province, I invite you to accompany us during St. Anthony Mary Claret’s Novena, beginning on Friday, October 16, and concluding on Saturday, October 24, his feast day. These nine days are a sacred time for prayer, reflection, and action. We are honored to pray for you—and with you.

I invite you to share your prayers and intentions with us HERE. United in prayer, we will place your intentions at the altar in the chapel of Dominguez Seminary, where Claretians gather to celebrate Mass each day.

Like our founder, we reach across borders and restore hope. Around the world, Claretians accompany people and communities facing displacement, poverty, uncertainty, and hardship. In places where families have been forced from their homes or where children and communities are especially vulnerable, Claretians offer welcome, dignity, opportunity, faith, and hope.

Our Claretian value of Embrace calls us to respond to the urgent needs of all God’s people, excluding no one. Your prayers and support help us live this value by standing beside people in need and reminding them that they are not forgotten. And, as we quickly approach the end of the year, your Novena offering can do even more for our ministries. Through a generous benefactor’s challenge match gift, your Novena offering will be doubled, having twice the impact. This is a special feast day opportunity to help Claretian Missionaries bring hope and support to those who need it most.

As we enter these nine days of prayer, may we remember that we are one Claretian family, united across cultures, languages, and borders by our faith and shared mission.

We will hold you and your loved ones in prayer throughout the Novena. Please pray with us and all those longing for peace, belonging, and a better tomorrow.

May God bless you and all those you hold dear on the Feast of Saint Anthony Mary Claret!

In the Heart of Mary,
