Young men who want to become missionaries must be dedicated to growing in communion with the mind and heart of Christ. We offer a serious and intensive program of preparation and training for the missionary service of God’s Reign.
Mission and missionary availability is at the heart of our identity as Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary, also known as the Claretian Missionaries. This mission requires our students to give special attention to their spiritual life, including a profound intimacy with God’s Word, the Eucharist, and diverse forms of personal and communal prayer. This reflects their desire to be in communion at all times with God’s will. The call to discipleship will lead them through a loving and faith-filled life of prayer, community, study, ministry, and solidarity with God’s people.
Our Claretian Missionary spirituality and identity calls us to have a passionate love for Christ and a zeal for the service of God’s people, especially the poor and marginalized. Additionally, students study ecumenism, multiculturalism, inter-religious dialogue, collaboration, and those issues related to justice, peace and the integrity of all creation.
