Fr. Paul’s Advent Message

“But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for see – I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people.”

Luke 2:10

November 2024

On behalf of the Claretians here and around the world, we are grateful for your prayers and support. You empower our mission and all our good works.

As we ready our hearts to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, you’ll find the 2025 Claretian calendar truly reflects our Lord’s ministry of service to those in greatest need. The Gospel thrives in our Claretian mission as we respond to individuals and communities often overlooked and left behind. Our ministries to those who hunger, who seek refuge, who want to deepen their faith are more important and necessary than ever.

I wonder if you’ll review the full calendar right away, like an excited child anticipating a special gift, turning each page to reveal the next Claretian ministry. Or will you patiently wait for each new month’s miracle to be revealed, much the way God does his work through all of us, day by day? However you reflect on the pages within, my hope is that the spirit of love touches you personally and deeply.

In this Advent season, as we reflect on the limitless ways blessings are realized in our lives, we are grateful for your steadfast commitment. Your prayers and support enable us to spread the love of Christ with individuals and families struggling to overcome unimaginable challenges.

May the new year bring you peace and an abundance of Jesus love and hope.

The peace of Christ be with you,
