Fr. Paul’s St. Anthony Mary Claret Novena Message

“St. Anthony Mary Claret, pray for us.”

Dear Friend of St. Claret,

Every October we come together in prayer for our Solemn Novena to our Claretian founder, St. Anthony Mary Claret.

We are humbled and grateful that you are an integral part of our Claretian mission, following St. Anthony Mary Claret’s example of proclaiming the light of Christ and the joy of the Gospel to all people.

In that spirit, we invite you to accompany us during this important time of prayer and reflection. The Novena begins on Wednesday, October 16, and concludes on Thursday, October 24, the Feast Day of St. Anthony Mary Claret.

During the Novena, we will pray with and for you—and we humbly ask that you include us in your prayers as we strive to live out our mission serving those who are often overlooked and most in need.

In the USA-CANADA Province, your prayers sustain our Claretian priests and brothers as we work to meet the pressing needs in our 12 communities. Our unique social justice ministries feed thousands of families every year, inspire the youth in our schools to excel, and offer hope and restoration to families impacted by forced migration.

Faithful to the tradition and inspiration of St. Anthony Mary Claret, our ministries offer light and hope to thousands, working together to transform our communities for the better. In these times, the Holy Spirit calls on us to fulfill our mission in ways that are urgent, timely and effective—and reminds us that no ministry is faithful if it does not begin and end in prayer.

Please share your prayer intentions with us so that we may place them at the altar in the chapel of Dominguez Seminary.

May God bless you and all those you hold dear on the Feast of Saint Anthony Mary Claret!

In the Heart of Mary,

Rev. Paul Keller, CMF
